Kensie Olson


Kensie Olson's face
Kensie started working in the UMD Bee Lab as an undergrad research technician. After graduating with her B.S. in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Maryland, she became a Faculty Assistant in the UMD Bee Lab. She helps facilitate the creation of the kits for the National Honey Bee Survey along with assisting in molecular research and searching for the microsporidian Vairimorpha, and the parasitic mite, Tropilaelaps. Kensie loves hiking and figure skating.
